If you think your spray bottle has a clog, we suggest taking the top off and placing the tubing (with the nozzle still attached) in a cup of warm water; pump the spray top until water sprays out with ease. We have a young daughter with eczema and we aren't using steroids but only natural products. This product could have worked possibly if she was older and could tolerate the dryness/itchiness better, like adults or young adults can (mental preparation and self control) but she's too young for that. My baby girl broke out all over her body with various eczema spots. We did an elimination diet and learned she’s sensitive to gluten so we cut that out. Once we did the eczema stopped spreading but it wouldn’t heal. We added this topical spray to our regimen and it reversed it by 98% in two months. Were very pleased with it. I just wish we could apply it every day so it’s an easier regimen to remember!
I bought this for my teenage daughter who has had eczema since an infant. She has been using the spray along with the pill for 3 months. She has not had any eczema breakouts since starting and the discoloration of her skin seems to be evenly my out. The only negative I would say is then spray bottle clogs very easily. I contacted customer service and the sent my 2 new bottles but those clogged within a few uses. I cleaned them after each use per the instructions. Luckily I had my own bottle and that has need working fine. So, it is an issue with the Defensin bottle. We had tried everything even prescription from Dermatologists and nothing has worked like Skinesa line.

I have two sons with eczema that I bought 2x Defensin for, but they both flare for different reasons (one dietary and the other environmental) so it wasn't unexpected that it only worked for the one with environmental triggers. However for the one it did work on its worked amazingly, he no longer has any red itchy dry spots around his neck, armpits, wrists or elbow creases. There is still a small amount on his knees but even then he is no longer itchy and has chosen to actually wear shorts and short sleeve t-shirts where previously it was only ever long sleeves and pants.
